Still Not A Patient Girl

The joy of all joys happened this past week. My phone glitched during an update and is now hiding in shame in a drawer. Waiting until I can get my hands on a new one is torture.. and not the kind I enjoy. I figured I’d be a-ok without one, I didn’t depend on my phone at all! I was quickly corrected on that. Of course I have a laptop, but I reach for my phone and apps over it every time. Even in writing this, I’ve had that problem. I write my blogs via WP (voice) and laptop. Interestingly, I seem to use these apps daily:

  • WordPress
  • Canva
  • Voice recording
  • Pinterest
  • Amazon/Walmart/Thrive Market
  • Etsy
  • Bank and Paypal

Obviously there’s other apps but those seem to be the big ones. Having to navigate websites is lame, lol. I haven’t spoken to M since Thursday and I miss him so flipping much. It’s weird we don’t communicate other than calls/texts. Emails are the only other way, though they are usually used only in instances like this. We’ve tried to maintain backup messaging clients, just never sticks for us.

Sleep is still playing his devious game but I manage to drift off for a few. Earlier, I did sleep long enough to have a quick dream. It’s only a few days of hurry up and wait. We’ve been doing alot of that recently. A few things are in play at the moment and it can be discouraging and stressful. It’s like knowing what you’re getting as a present, but also know you’re not getting it before you’re meant to. Divine timing can be brutal. All we can do is our shadow work and be ready to hit the ground running when given the green light. I’ve dealt with some harsh criticism this month, I don’t feel it’s entirely fair or accurate. That’s not to say I can’t glean anything from these conversations. I say it alot because I believe it to be so very true… God will provide and guide us to where we need to be. Nothing happens until it’s meant to. These blocks and inconveniences are His hand, on our shoulder, watching traffic before letting us cross the street. They are challenging but maintaining your grace and composure during is crucial.

Also, don’t attack the buddy you’re crossing the street with

I’m just saying…
